I’m Jacqueline Guillory, the voice behind the motherhood blog Crumbs & Chaos, where I share the messy, hilarious, and heartfelt moments of raising kids.
I’m also the creator of the Hugsy & Lynnlee Adventure Series, a collection of children’s books that blend warmth, humor, and meaningful life lessons through the eyes of my daughters’ storybook alter egos. The series includes Just One Hug: The Story of Hugsy the Lion, The Day Lynnlee Didn’t Win, Hugsy’s Big, Brave Halloween, and the new holiday story The Sleigh That Took My Sister.

As a mom of many, I know the chaos, the magic, and the unfiltered truth of family life. My blog began as a survival guide for moms like me,part therapy, part storytelling, and part reminder that none of us are as alone as we sometimes feel.
Beyond children’s books, I also write for grown-ups under my own name and the pen name Raine Ashford. My memoir Tyler Never Cried shares the raw, emotional journey of raising my autistic son and learning to see love beyond words. My upcoming darkly comedic thriller Hot Flash Homicide brings humor and heat (literally) to the chaos of midlife.
No matter the genre, my heart stays the same: to tell stories that make people feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.
