Hi,
I am an author and mom to some amazing kids. My oldest is 22, and my youngest still calls me “Mommy.” I’m navigating adulthood with some, raising teenagers with others, and walking tenderly beside children who face challenges that require more than most people will ever see.
One of my sons is autistic, with level 3 support needs. One of my loves fights daily battles with mental health. I’ve walked through abuse, three marriages, and seasons where survival felt like a full-time job.
I created Crumbs and Chaos because this life is loud, complicated, and beautiful in ways I never expected. But it’s also isolating. The invisible labor, the emotional weight, the constant juggling…it all adds up. And sometimes, it feels like no one sees the person doing the holding.
This blog is for her, or him. For us
For the ones who keep going even when no one claps. Who cry in the laundry room and laugh through the mess. Who love fiercely and feel forgotten. You’re not alone, and you’re not invisible here.
